Each Day

Each day another lesson
But in essence it's a blessing a guess
Just wouldn't mind if we could subtract all the pain and stress
Never the less
We grow through all the testing trails and tribulations
It takes strength to remain loving in the midst of all the hating
My mind is focused on change
But I guess yours is too
The thing is your change is dollar signs
But see my change is uplifting lives
And try to enlighten minds
Opening eyes so you can see your ladder and climb
Rise up
Cause each day they want us to sit down
Asking what you standing for?
Cause at the end I pray my life meant more
I put my soul in everything just to be sure it carried spirit
So there is something that you can feel in it
So I promise each day to grow my heart
And put more in every second of my art
From finger tips to voice box and channel through the mind
Whether written our visual my creation is divine
But humbly I remind
I only can have one day at a time
So Lord bless this day
And give grace at this time
Ease our souls and peace in our minds
I pray
